Race Classes for 2013 Memphis Fuel and Gas Drags
May 17 – 18, 2013
Nostalgia Top Fuel- Features 2 – 4 Supercharged Nitro front engine dragsters heads up match style racing.
Outlaw Fuel Altered- Rat Trap vs. Nanook Grudge Match 2 runs Saturday
Nostalgia Pro Comp- Featuring all blown or injected alcohol or injected nitro Front Engine Dragsters, ‘79 and earlier Funny Cars and center drive Altereds. Also open to door cars with nostalgic body styles ’79 and older. 8 car qualified field on 7.00 index.
Nostalgia Super Stock/Muscle Car- Featuring 1972 and older Super Stock style cars and 1979 and older Muscle Cars running on indexes ranging from 8.50 to 13.00. All cars race in one 32 car eliminations field. If we have 16 in each class we will seperate the classes.
Nostalgia Comp- Index class ranging from 7.50 to 11.00 open to Front Engine Dragsters, ’79 and older Funny Cars, ’79 and older Altereds, Street Roadsters, and ’79 and older Modified door cars. All cars race in one 32 car elimination field.
Nostalgia Gas– Index classes from 9.00 to 11.50 open to 1967 and older coupes, sedans, and trucks. This includes period correct Gasser-style cars only. Rules are under Race Classes/Nostalgia Gas. The rules for the index classes will be less strict than the GASSER SHOOTOUT rules. Each index class will be limited to 16 car qualified field.
Gasser Shootout- 8 Car Chicago Style format for period correct 1967 and older straight axle gasseers. Pre entry required.
Hot Rod Eliminator- Bracket race with dial in from 10.00 to 13.99. Open to all cars 1983 and older. All run field.
Exhibition- Run any car that is nostalgic and doesn’t fit another class but will go fast and put on a show RACE CARS ONLY
Super Pro, Pro, DOT Street, Jr. Dragsters- Points earning Memphis International Raceway bracket race. All run field. Standard M.I.R. rules.
